Education

He successfully completed his medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine between 2000-2006. As of 2007, he started his General Surgery Specialization at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine 'Department of General Surgery'. He successfully completed his General Surgery Specialization at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2012.

Professional Experience

He was interested in Laparoscopic surgery from the first years on his assistantship and later developed himself in this direction. In 2009, he took part in the Private Metabolic Surgery Clinic at Istanbul German Hospital and took part in the first Laparoscopic Metabolic Surgery (Surgical treatment of Type 2 Diabetes) surgery performed in Turkey. In 2011, he received 'Metabolic Surgery' training at Taksim German Hospital Metabolic Surgery Unit within Universal Hospitals.

Between 2012-2014, he worked as a General Surgery Specialist at Istanbul Kanun Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. He worked at the Metabolic Surgery Clinic in Istanbul between 2014 and 2017. During this period, his interest in laparoscopic surgery turned into experience. With his experience in thousands of cases, he took part in obesity surgery and surgical treatment of diabetes and thus gained great experience.
